L187 is a nomadic gallery, beyond the established institutions and therefore autonomous and free in its orientation. The space promotes international and local developments that are brought into dialogue with each other in solo and duo exhibitions, as well as in performative and discursive formats. An emphasis is placed on commissioning new artistic productions that are developed in situ and conceived specifically for the space. The exhibition venues evolve depending on the project and are not bound to a fixed location. The close collaboration with the invited artists draws on the potential of the space as a dynamic place of encounter.
